Easter egg with casting compound #3091

For a vintage-style Easter table, our silicone molds are an ideal base to transform not only eggs into a filigree Easter decoration, but also various other gifts. In the following video you can see how to use the silicone molds with casting compound. The molds can furthermore be used also with casting soap, wax, creative cement, Fimo/Cernit and other materials.Materials:
740039-56 silicone mold eggs
300-25 goose eggs 80 mm white
781-89 feathers 20 pcs brown
798-53 Jute yarn 3.5 mm natural approx. 200 g
6136-49 ribbon lace 25 mm pink
6136-52 ribbon lace 25 mm gray-brown
Acrylic color in wild rose, light gray, light green
1000-1 Kera BLANC – ceramic powder or H1000-001 casting compound Keraflott white 1 kg

Tools:
Scissors, brush, glue gun, mug, wooden spatulaInstructions:

1000-1 Kera-Blanc: : Pour Kera-Blanc into clean mixing water (500g/0.25l). Stir vigorously and intensively after approx. 2 minutes soaking time. Fill the mass into the mould. Wait at least 1 hourbefore removing the figure from the mould. The processing temperature should be above 5°C.

H1000-001 Keraflott: The relief casting powder is mixed: to one part of water, 3 parts of casting powder. Stir well. To avoid air bubbles, you can brush out the mold before pouring in the mixture and then quickly stir in the rest of the mixture, gently shaking to soften the mass. The processing time is approx. 10 minutes and the hardening time approx. 30 – 40 minutes depending on the layer thickness.
